About me

Sarah is a bilingual licensed professional clinical counselor with a supervisor designation. She specializes in working with children, teens, young adults, families and the adult population. Her specialties include adjustment difficulties, relationship issues, self- esteem issues, anxiety and mood disorders, LGBTQ+ communities, issues about identity and belonging as well as stress and trauma impacted by immigration and/or legal system. Sarah strives to provide quality mental health counseling services in both English and Spanish.

She has garnered her experience by working in non-profit agencies, university and community college settings. In addition, she also provides supervision and development to Master level counseling students.
Sarah obtained her Master of Arts from John Carroll University in Community Mental Health Counseling. She utilizes an eclectic approach combining a cognitive based-solution focused therapy along with mindful awareness to empower individuals.
